OUR STORY
A School Born From Struggle
Furaha Junior School is a project by Furaha Charity Foundation under the education program, through the leadership of Kalenzi Alex, who grew up facing many challenges accessing education. After experiencing the struggles of many children in his community, he was inspired to create a school where vulnerable children could receive education and hope for a better life. The school officially opened in January 2024 and has already impacted hundreds of children.
Education is the most powerful tool we can give a child to break the cycle of poverty.
💔 The Reality
Many children in our community wake up every day without access to education. Some have lost parents. Others come from families that cannot afford even the most basic school needs. Without support, their dreams slowly fade. But at Furaha Junior School, we are changing that story.

The Children We Serve
At Furaha Junior School, we serve children from vulnerable communities in Iganga, Uganda. Many of our students come from families that struggle to afford school fees, and some are orphans or live with single parents. Our school ensures that every child has access to education, a safe learning environment, and hope for a better future. Today, the school supports over 400 children, giving them the opportunity to learn, grow, and dream.
