Furaha Foundation is a community-based nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable children and families through education, community support, and sustainable development programs.
Founded in 2015 by Kalenzi Alex, the foundation was created to respond to the challenges faced by many children who struggle to access education and basic opportunities in their communities.

Our Journey
Since its founding, Furaha Foundation has grown from a small community effort into an organization supporting children and families through education and outreach programs.
Kalenzi Alex founded Furaha Foundation with a vision to support vulnerable children and families in the community after experiencing similar challenges growing up.
• 2015 – Foundation started
• 2016–2022 – Community outreach programs
• 2024 – Furaha Junior School opened
• 2024 – First graduation ceremony
• 2025 upto Date – Expanding programs and partnerships
