Furaha Charity Foundation is a registered Uganda-based nonprofit (REG NO: 80034289329173) committed to transforming lives by supporting orphans, widows, and vulnerable families. Through access to safe drinking water, quality education, healthcare, spiritual guidance, and skills training, we empower communities and give children a safe place to learn, grow, and dream.

This work is carried out through our key initiatives, including Furaha Home and Furaha Junior School, where children receive care, education, and the opportunity to build a brighter future.

OUR STORY

From Struggle to Purpose

Our founder, Kalenzi Alex, grew up as an orphan in Iganga, facing many challenges in accessing education and basic needs. Through resilience and determination, he turned his struggles into purpose — founding Furaha Charity Foundation in 2015.

What began as a personal journey of pain and survival has grown into a mission of hope. Today, his story inspires change, supporting hundreds of lives through education, safe drinking water, and spiritual care.

From humble beginnings to a growing impact, our journey continues — building brighter futures, restoring hope, and changing lives one child, one family, and one community at a time.

We are rooted in the teachings of Jesus Christ. Every act of love we show is an extension of our belief in God’s mercy and justice. We pray for every child and family we serve, because faith is not just our foundation — it is our fuel.
