Taufik’s Story
Taufik is a 10-year-old boy from Iganga, Uganda. He was born with hydrocephalus, a serious condition that causes a build-up of fluid in the brain. Since the day he was born, his mother, Nankwanga, has fought tirelessly to care for him despite overwhelming challenges.
Because of his condition, Taufik requires ongoing medical care, proper nutrition, and a safe environment to help him live with dignity. His mother does everything she can, but living in poverty makes it difficult to afford the treatment and support he needs.
