Furaha Junior School Project
The Furaha Junior Project, launched on 4th February 2024 by Furaha Foundation, is dedicated to transforming education for children in Iganga, Uganda. Operating both a nursery and primary school, Furaha Junior provides a supportive, quality learning environment for 396 young students. Our mission is to nurture children’s potential and lay a strong foundation for their futures through a balanced curriculum and holistic development programs. Every day, our teachers and team members strive to create a positive and enriching school experience, understanding that the work we do today will impact these young lives for years to come.
Furaha Community Outreach
The Furaha Community Outreach program is an integral part of our mission, aiming to uplift and empower families in the Iganga area. Through this initiative, we offer resources, educational support, and health services to address the immediate needs of vulnerable families while building a foundation for sustainable development. Our outreach efforts include health awareness campaigns, and distribution of essential items like food and clothing to those in need. With a strong focus on community involvement, we also encourage local partnerships and engage volunteers to amplify our impact. This collective effort brings hope and tangible change to those we serve, reinforcing our commitment to building a resilient, empowered community.
Furaha Elders’ Care Network
The Elders’ Care Network is an initiative by Furaha Kids Foundation, designed to support and uplift the elderly in our community. This project recognizes the invaluable role of elders and seeks to provide them with essential resources, companionship, and dignity in their later years. Through a variety of services—including regular wellness check-ins, provision of basic necessities, and community gatherings—we aim to improve the quality of life for our seniors, ensuring they feel respected and valued.
Furaha Water
The Furaha Water Project is a life-changing initiative aimed at providing safe, reliable water sources to communities in Iganga, Uganda. Access to clean water is essential for health, sanitation, and daily living, yet many families here face constant challenges finding a clean supply. This project, driven by Furaha Kids Foundation, seeks to install water wells and purification systems to bring clean water directly to the heart of the community. We aim to reduce waterborne diseases, promote hygiene, and save valuable time for children and families who otherwise walk long distances to fetch water.
