Victory Highlights
At Furaha foundation , we celebrate the positive impact we’ve made since our inception. In 2021, we achieved a significant milestone by purchasing our first piece of land, allowing us to build an orphanage home that provides shelter and care for vulnerable children. Building on this success, we acquired an additional three hectares of land where we are currently constructing a school to serve our community. This new school will create more educational opportunities for children in the area. These accomplishments reflect our commitment to making a difference and our ongoing efforts to support children and families in need. We are proud of what we have achieved and excited about the future as we continue to grow and expand our services.
Furaha Junior School
On February 3rd, 2024, we proudly opened the doors of Furaha Junior School, marking a significant milestone in our mission to provide quality education to children in our community. This achievement reflects our dedication to creating a nurturing learning environment where students can thrive academically and personally. While the school is currently open, we are excited to share that construction is still underway to enhance the facilities further. We are committed to providing the best resources for our students, ensuring they have a safe and supportive space to learn and grow. We look forward to the positive impact Furaha Junior School will have on our community as we continue this journey together.
Furaha Land
In 2023, we made a significant leap forward by purchasing more land, a crucial step in expanding our impact within the community. This new land will allow us to further our mission of providing quality education and support for children and families in need. Our plans for this land include building additional facilities that will enhance our educational programs and community outreach initiatives. We are excited about the opportunities this new space will create and the lasting difference it will make in the lives of those we serve. This accomplishment is a testament to our commitment to growth and development as we strive to empower our community.
Health Care Initiative
At Furaha foundation, our health programs have transformed the lives of many children in our community. Through regular health screenings, immunizations, and nutritional support, we have ensured that children gain access to essential healthcare services. Many have received timely medical attention, resulting in significant improvements in their health. We also educate families on hygiene and nutrition to promote overall well-being. Wheelchair Distribution in 2018

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Furaha foundation launched a vital food distribution program to support families facing severe hardships. As many lost their jobs and livelihoods, we organized the gathering and distribution of essential food supplies. We provided staple items like rice, beans, and cooking oil to vulnerable families, helping them navigate the challenges of the crisis. Victories in Child Rescue:
In 2017, Furaha foundation launched a program to rescue street children, successfully bringing dozens of vulnerable kids into our care at the Furaha Foundation. This initiative provided them with a safe place to stay, access to education, healthcare, and emotional support. Many of these children have since flourished, embracing new opportunities and rebuilding their lives.
